​Genesis East Birth Center in Davenport, IA has a Bereavement Suite, a unique suite of adjacent rooms, where mothers can deliver her stillborn child or miscarry in a quiet, private setting inside the hospital. While there, she will receive specialized care honoring the new life and is given time to say goodbye. CCS-QCA provides funding for robes and slippers for the mother, bereavement books, toiletries, a tiny flannel, knit, or crocheted blanket, memory making resources, and a handwritten cards offering prayers and condolences.
