The Christ Child Society of the Quad Cities donates newborn layettes valued at $100 to the four Birth Centers at Genesis and Unity Point Health Systems. The large layette includes onsies, one piece footed pajammas, socks, bibs, a sleep sack, diapers, wipes, a toddler board book, and more. Education on sleep safety and soothing a crying baby is also included.
A mini layette set, valued at $30, is given to each new mother who has a positive pregnancy test at Women's Choice Center, a prolife organization in Bettendorf, IA, which also supports new mothers.

Volunteers gather regularly to put together layette sets to be delivered to local hospitals in the Quad Cities. In 2022, the CCS of the Quad Cities donated nearly 400 layette sets due to the generosity of so many donations from our supporters and volunteers.
